The Head FlexPoint 6 Oversize is a more power-oriented option in the new-for-2005 Head FlexPoint series. The FlexPoint 6 OS offers a suprisingly controlled feel for a 27mm width frame, thanks to the "flexpoints" cut into the frame at 3:00 and 9:00. Also, slightly lighter than the FlexPoint 6 MidPlus.Two precisley engineered holes at the 3:00 and 9:00 position work together to bring power in control. The dimple is engineered to create flexibility by reducing beam height by a maximum of 25%. The hole reduces sectional stiffness up to 50%. Basically, the racquet is cupping the ball to hold the ball a split second longer and create a narrower path. A rifle instead of a shotgun. The racquet also produces less shock making the new FlexPoint 6 OS a winner for beginning to advanced intermediate players. Racquet Specifications- Headsize: 112 sq. in.

Excellent price to quality ratio. I have played with many tennis racquets for over 20 years and you can really trust Head with this one. Great feel and touch, easy to serve hard and still volley fast and accurate. However, not the latest tech and not for pros, but for active player a good choise.

I bought this in sports authority, as racquets should be boughten. However this is an amazing racquet. However mine costed $170. I is hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like my racquet. It also has the same retail value, so I figure it is the same.

PROBLEM I HAD IN THIS PURCHASE:
I also purchased a racquet cover because Amazon has not informed custmer that cover would come with racquet.
I had an additional and unecessary expense of US$25
