Best Underwear for working out, but pricey September 30, 2008 D (Metro Detroit, MI USA) I usually run 4-5 days a week, and take a spinning class 2-3 days a week. I used to wear Champion cotton boxer briefs while working out. But cotton boxer briefs have two drawbacks: 1) they don't compress your muscles, which is actually helpful in preventing pulls and strains; and 2) they get wet with sweat, and can lead to chafing and irritation. The UnderArmour boxerjock solves both of those problems. They are truly the most comfortable wicking fabric I've ever worn, and they, even if merely psychologically, make my workouts seem more effective. Yes, they are pricey. No getting around that. But in my opinion, they are truly worth the price.
Best Underwear ever! September 27, 2008 Sarah Wilson (Colorado) I bought these for my husband. We are usually cheap skates but these underwear are worth the money to him. They are the only underwear that keeps him dry. The only thing I would take notice of before purchasing would be the inseam. We ordered the shorter pair, not realizing how short they are. They still do the same job, but hubby would have prefered the longer in seam.
Careful - This item is the "short" boxerjock September 18, 2008 D. Rose 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item is actually the "SHORT" boxer (with 3 inch inseam). I know because I ordered it based on the description which says it has the 5 3/4 inseam, but it does not. Apparently it is Amazon's fault in listing it wrong, not the seller's (Worldwide Sport Supply, who was nice and helpful and provided a refund) but just take care when ordering that you are getting the style you want.

These boxer jocks are great. To me, they're more comfortable than cotton jocks, especially when you're active all day, or working out. I always were them when I go on vacation, because I'm usually walking a lot.
Great for summer & workouts July 17, 2008 Philly I work out at the gym 4-5 days a week, and need a brief type short for "support". I used 2xist briefs (which cost about the same) and they did a good job, but now that switched to these - WOW. Much more supportive and the material is much more skin-tight and slimmer material than the 2xist cotton briefs. The walk to work today and the walk home yesterday is in jeans with these boxers, and these briefs just wick the sweat away. They are expensive, which is why I only give 4 stars. If these were $10 a pop, I'd easily give them 5 stars. Totally worth buying if you are like me, you go to the gym after work and need a supportive brief &/or need a brief for outside in hot weather. Not sure how they will be in winter, due to the thin (but definitely not cheap) material.
