Pelican Mystic snowboard January 11, 2008 Alan M. Janowiak 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this from his Aunt for Christmas and it did not hold up. The plastic pockets kept coming undone and the groove of one of the pockets actually snapped/broke. And after only two uses! I do not recommend this sb! The company did issue my sister-in-law a credit - even without asking for the broken sb to be returned to them!
poor design January 8, 2008 Randy T. Johnson (South Bend IN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The foot straps protrude out of the bottom of the board. They dig into the snow preventing it from sliding. A snowboard that won't slide on the snow? How good is that! I tried supperglueing the protruding straps flush with the bottom of the board but the glue won't stick to this kind of plastic. I had sum bondo in the garage that also didn't work. Next ill try to buy and use sum plastic epoxy. How can a company sell something this poorly designed? My 5 year old girl identified the problem in 5 seconds. I bought an Emsco Group Freeride the same time for my sun and it worked like a charm.
not received in a timely fashion January 7, 2008 M. HillHarris (Ludington, MI) I ordered the snowboard on December 4th. I received it on January 2nd. Everytime I called the company to find out about where it was, I felt like I was given the run-around. They couldn't really tell me where it was-couldn't track it. The board itself was fine-unfortunately all of our snow has melted. It would have been really nice to have it about 2 weeks before.
Fogdog has terrible service January 3, 2008 CookinMommax5 (Pacific Northwest) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I attempted to purchase this snowboard for my son for Christmas. I placed the order on December 10th with a 6 - 10 day delivery promised. The order finally arrived on January 3rd!!! I called several times trying to find out any information and was treated very rudely by their "customer service" representatives. Their service was so terrible we decided to refuse the order instead we'll purchase a snowboard from someone else.
