Product Description The back bone of any roof rack system is its CrossBars. Yakima's round bars are extremely strong and always give you an even attachment surface.

No End Caps July 7, 2008 H. More (Portland, Maine USA) If you order these loadbars from Amazon, be aware that they do not come with any end caps. You definitely need the end caps to keep out water and grit. So, make sure to also buy end caps.
great item, good price, June 21, 2007 Sstrahlung (NW Arkansas) Yakima roof racks are excellent. I am now fitting my 8 yo rack to a truck and needed a longer set of bars. These fit the ticket and are a great price. Just arrived today and they are nearly as described. The bars are taped together without a box - a few scuffs, but the trip didn't hurt them. Unfortunately, they don't come with the endcaps show in the photo, just the opene ended bar.... Overall pelased with the purchse, but have to find some endcaps now..
Works Great March 15, 2007 Nicholas M. Folts (Boston, MA USA) This Yakima roof rack system works great and I highly recommend it. I bought one for my Mazda 3 and have use it, along with a Yakima roof rack for 2 cross country ski trips (I live a Florida, skiing is far away). The rack hasn't shifted an inch and was relatively easy to install. Yakima has a product guide on their site to make sure you order the right pieces for your model car.
Best rack system January 4, 2007 Robert A. Francis (Albany, NY usa) This is my 2nd Yakima rack set up. My first set i abused for the last ten years. Some times loaded the roof of my jeep with up to 2 bikes a stacked canoe and kayak next to my Cargo box all at the same time. I'm guessing we put 400 + lbs. It never let me down. So if you dont know much about the Yakima systems all I can say is ya cant go wrong, The best money spent if you do allot of outdoor adventures
