cutest winter boots May 11, 2008 Nicole A Myerscough 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
these boots are super warm, socks are really not even needed. the toggles are a little difficult, but for myself all i need to slip them on is to undo the first toggle. definately worth the little bit of work...actually i think it's faster then dealing with shoe laces. i purchased them for a trip to nor. michigan in the middle of winter and i was soooo happy with toasty feet, better than winter boots i ever owned when i lived in nor. new york!! i currently live in nor. california, and they are so stylish and cute that they even work with some dress up outfits in addition to casual clothes. and i found no problem with them being too warm when our temperature was in the low 70's. definately these boots are very versitile, amazingly comfortable, worth every penny (quality shoes usually aren't cheap, and probably the most important item of clothing to spend more money on). They are made from a reliable company that always guarentees their products for a lifetime. i get so many compliments on these boots, and they are by far more comfortable and fashionable than any luggs or bearclaws.
fabulous boots February 8, 2008 R. R. Reed (Pagosa Springs, Co. USA) these boots are everything they claim to be and more...I highly reccommend them for those who want warmth, utility in snow and style
wide foot January 10, 2008 Cornhusker I have a wide foot, it fits. The leather loop and toggle are a little difficult to close but they are warm and comfortable.
Great winter shoes! December 30, 2007 pretty happy 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love these shoes! I get tons of compliments. They are much better looking than Uggs. Merrell says the are water resistant uppers (which I have not had a leak problem with yet). The toggles are functional, but I find that there is just enough room to tuck my pants in without having to undo the toggles. I love that I don't have to mess with a zipper or shoe strings to put these on. Boot shaft is thin enough to be able to put pants leg over the boot if it's not wet out. Very warm (I've been using them in Chicago). I recommend wearing knee high socks if you wear socks with them. Otherwise when you pull the boot off, the sock will come off with it. I like them so much I bought a second pair. Size is between true size and maybe a half size bigger.
My perfect winter boot December 12, 2007 L. Varnadoe 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is exactly the boot i wanted. it fits well, i can stand to be in them for more than an hour and they are comfortable. The only thing that is slightly annoying, is that i have to wear a very tall sock because the stickers/info tags are really scratchy. I used to have a pair of Sorels that i had for about 10 years. They were never as comfortable as these and they were extremely clunky. No clunk with these and i think they are just about as warm if not just as warm. i love these boots and would recommend them to everyone.
