Perfect for skates, ski boots, or shoes, the Heatmax Toasti Toes Foot Warmers are air-activated toe warmers with full adhesive on one side that sticks to your socks and helps them to stay firmly in place. Toasti Toes provide up to five hours of 100-degree-Fahrenheit warmth and are designed for the active sportsman who will be walking or moving continuously while outdoors in the cold. All Heatmax warmers are made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber. When exposed to air, these materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures.

I learned about the toe warmers 20 yrs ago in Girl Scouts....And really tested this product while skiing. My hands get incredibly cold. using a snowboard set of gloves, on the fleece gloves I would put a toe warmer on the top and on the palm side of my fingers, and wrap one around my thumb. Then the waterproof mitten went over the glove. This was the culmination of many trials. I also used them as they were intended, in my ski boots.
Now I am paraplegic and I use them daily to bring warmth to my always cold feet. Of note I always use special circulation socks and a warm wool sock on my foot before I afix the toe warmers.
So I always order multiple sets......... These Really Rock

After years of painfully cold toes (Raynaud's Syndrome) I splurged on a full box of these toe warmers and, so far, have been really happy. Usually my feet are cold inside the house, so putting these pads on the bottoms of my socks then putting on shoes or boots and heading into the cold and not noticing my toes has been nothing short of a life-changing event for me. I love walking in the snow and now am able to enjoy it. Only downside is that they last 5 hours and need to be replaced. I also love the hand warmers, which are like hot potatoes in my mittens.

These Toastie toes are a great buy through Amazon. The cost savings with shipping is still less expensive than buying them at your local store. The toastie's are great for all shoes. They are not to be used with thin socks or bare feet as they do get very warm. However, to use them at work, any outdoor event, winter horseback riding, outdoor winter projects, hunting, or winter walking is an absolute plus.

I use these all winter. I always have cold feet and when my feet are warm, it makes me feel warmer all over. I love them.
