Since I only weigh 146lbs. I was planning to buy the smaller model. But I ended up buying this larger one because I think it looks a little better. The other more expensive Luminox models have better features and look better, but they do cost a lot more.
This watch is a lot lighter and feels way stronger than I expected.
The self powered illumination works great at night, it's perfect. But it's not overly bright so don't worry it doesn't look like some glow in the dark toy!
If you're looking for a nice simple and durable watch, I fully recommend this watch. Or if you want to spend more money try any of the higher end Luminox watches.

En apariencia el reloj es bastante bonito, deportivo y por el tamano llama bastante la atencion, el sistema de iluminacion es bastante bueno, de verdad si ilumina. Ahora viene lo malo, mi reloj vino defectuoso y cada vez que empieza a realizar el cambio de fecha (aproximadamente a las 11:30pm) se detiene, se tranca entonces tengo que corregir la hora manualmente. Adicionalmente a este defecto las correas se me rompieron en dos meses de uso, la goma es de muy mala calidad, de hecho he leido otros casos que hablan de la mala calidad de la correa.

Condensation has developed behind the face after only a few weeks of ownership and the white painted numerals on the bezel have rubbed off. This is not the workmanship/quality that I expect from a near $200 swiss made watch. This is the most expensive watch I have ever owned and the poorest quality.

THIS IS ONE AWESOME WATCH. I'VE LIVED WITH IT NIGHT AND DAY SINCE I RECEIVED IT. IT IS FLAWLESS, LOOKS FANTASTIC AND SPORTY NO MATTER THE OCCASION, I WEAR IT AT THE LAKE, WHEN I SCUBA, WHEN I'M DRIVING MY CONVERTIBLE, AT WORK IN BUSINESS, IN CHURCH, I WILL NOT TAKE IT OFF. I LOVE IT, CAN YOU TELL? IT IS SUPER ACCURATE, COMFORTABLE, FUNCTIONAL, AND OH MY IS IT BRIGHT AND READABLE AT NIGHT! WHAT A WATCH, NO WONDER THE SEALS LIKE IT, BUT I WAS A MARINE - SIMBER FI. I've had this watch for nearly two months, and worn it most of that time. So far I am very pleased with the quality of the watch. It is a big watch, both face diameter and thickness, yet surprisingly light weight. Accuracy has been spot on. The watch has been knocked around, and no signs of any damage or marks. My newphew has a birthday coming up, and I am giving serious thought to getting him this watch
