Yogitoes mat is great for yoga practices in heated studios. It helps to dampen the towel where your hands and feet will rest in downward dog, but most of the time you'll sweat enough where it won't be an issue. No problems with colors bleeding, but I do wash it in cold and air dry. Machine drying is NOT recommended. Overall, a great purchase and one I'm very happy with.

I had been using a competitive product for about four years until last week. YT is very well made and performs very well especially in Power Vinyasa Flow yoga classes. As instructors, my wife and I strongly recommend it. Later today we will be leading 108 Sun Salutations in honor of peace for the global mala and YT will be holding us in place. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Hmm... I wish I had thought of this!! These new yoga rugs are awesome! Especially when doing hot yoga (sweat factor) Plus, this rug inparticular is a GREAT price considering most of the ones I've seen have been OVER 55.00. Just take causion when washing... wash with cold water and like colors because they tend to fade fairly quickly. TAMARA'S YOGA FUSION

This towel does prevent sliding (especially if you dampen it before practice) but I find that when I move my feet the towel tends to bunch up and shift around on the sticky mat, so I have to keep stopping to smooth it out. I've had much better luck (at a lower price) with the Mysore practice rugs sold at barefootyoga.com. The rug lies flat and stays flat, and costs $15 less.
