Smal and light, yet efective and bright. October 13, 2008 J. C. Gomez (Phoenix, AZ USA) I was looking for an LED flashlight at a local store, but they seemed high priced. Looked it up here and found this one that's much better in quality and costs a little less. It really cuts deep into pitch black darkness very well! Best light for the money! I love how the bottom can be screwed off slightly to cut the contact and preserve battery life.
hard to beat in terms of size and the quality, September 16, 2008 T. Wu (San Jose, CA) I have this little flash for two months now and so far I have been very happy to have it. It really does the job, the light is very strong considering the size of the flash. Actually i was trying to face the light and my eye got pretty hurt. The build quality is good. The feeling to hold it is very solid. The only complain that i have is that the bottom part of the flash may drop if you twist it to much (use for constantly turn on or turn off).
Inova X5 September 11, 2008 Eduardo Canales (Monterrey, NL, MX) I bought this because I work a lot with circuit boards at school and sometimes I have trouble seeing the components in normal lighting conditions. The X5 is excellent for this purpose. I was impressed when I took it outside in the night and it illuminated over 20 meters away. Just do not look directly at it when it's on unless you want to have a burned imaged for the next 5 minutes. The frame is strong and has a good weight to it. It has a 3 state cap at the end which either keeps it on, allows for pushing the button and turning it on, and a last state that prevents the light from turning on. This is all controlled by turning this cap. I recommend it for the countryside and workshops.
Very bright; not super concentrated beam, though May 8, 2008 Matt (Sterling Heights, MI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this flashlight. It's extremely durable, very bright, looks cool, and lasts a long time. The only drawback would be the inibility to focus the light into a strong beam. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with this light and I recommend it to anyone. Just keep in mind it doesn't use an "AA" battery, so buy these batteries somewhere other than the grocery store.... it's a rip-off there. This flashlight can definitely blind someone. But beyond 40-50 feet, you lose the effect as the light starts bleeding out into a larger area. It's not bad, but you have to accept that this is the type of flashlight it is.
very bright light April 12, 2008 Greg Furry (Granger, IN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Super bright and built like a tank, very compact. As bright as a much larger 4 cell mag light and the size of the smallest double AA flashlight
