All electronics are safely sealed inside and the cord is steel wrapped to prevent abrasion. U.L. approved heating element. Draws less than a 30 watt light bulb. Has a 1.5 gallon capacity and non tip bottom.

I BOUHT THIS FOR THE OUTSIDE ANIMALS FOR THE WINTER. IT WORKED GREAT.

Very good heated water bowl. Didn't freeze over in below zero weather. Made of sturdy plastic.

We researched several bowls with prices ranges from $19 to $70 and decided to buy this one. This one seemed to be the best value (best features and quality for the lowest price). The company even called us to see what we thought of it. So far it has worked great.

We have three cats and they stay outside, and seem to enjoy it even in the winter. The bowl keeps the water just right for them in any kind of weather. However, with global warming and the weather, I may not need it much longer.
