This package is an excellent choice for players looking for their first set or looking to move up from "hand-me-down" clubs. Set of 6 Ti-Matrix irons (5-PW) has a perimeter weighted design with low center of gravity that provides higher more accurate shots. Titanium 3 wood (15 ) has Inferno SGS ultra-lite graphite shaft with Lady Flex. 5 Wood (21 ) have Inferno graphite shaft with Lady Flex. Putter is heel & toe balanced for a more true roll. All clubs come with soft all-weather grips. Ladies' right hand, petite length for players up to 5'3" in height. Inferno light-weight stand bag has 4 way padded divider top, padded shoulder strap, 5 zippered exterior pockets, umbrella holder, Velcro glove tab with towel ring, zippered snap-on rain/travel cover & bottom assist handle. A good set of clubs for beginners without shelling out the big bucks. September 2, 2008 MM (Oakland, CA) Just what I was loooking for! One of the main things that was keeping me from learning to play golf was the investment on clubs, AND finding women's clubs that were for petite ladies like myself (5'0). I was under the impression that I'd have to shell out some big bucks just so I could learn. Also, the very idea of shopping for clubs was intimidating. Another concern was that even if I paid a lot of money for some clubs, what if I decided this wasn't the sport for me? Then I came upon this set. It's about a hundred bucks. The clubs work just fine. They are perfect for a beginner like myself. The bag is nice, too. I've had these for a couple of months. I've been taking some lessons and have spent a lot of time at the driving range and played three rounds of golf. These clubs are working out just fine. They seem to be pretty good quality for the price. My friend, who is an excellent golfer, tried out some of the clubs and he was able to hit ball as far wtih these clubs as when he uses his own expensive ones. He was pretty impressed with these. I am extremely happy with the clubs--and so happy to have found a set for shorter women like myself. I'm getting better each time I get out there to play. When I feel I'm ready (and good enough of a player--and have the money) to invest more on clubs, I'll do it. But I really think this set is a VERY GOOD DEAL, and an excellent set of clubs for beginning petite women. Highly recommend these!
Perfect for Lady beginners! June 3, 2008 Sally Mann (Baltimore, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm 5'3" in high and I found that these clubs are perfect for Lady petite beginner, specially the wood 3 !!! my favorite!!!,all the clubs are light, the putter is perfect to start the drilling practice in your carpet, the carry bag is small compared to others but that's good because I don't want to put much weigh in my back. If you want to start to see if you would like to play Golf, this is a very good option for equipment.
So Far So Good.... April 29, 2008 Diane Princer-Lezama 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The club came in a timely manner, it arrived exactly when they said it would. I will be using the clubs for the time on 1 May, 2008...as I am a complete beginner I have nothing to compare it to, but they feel good when I swing them. So far I am pleased...
Good value for the moey you pay September 20, 2007 DaddyO (St. Louis, MO, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The package arrived on schedule, and in good condition. My daughter was very excited to get a set with so many clubs, and a bag with legs (she is graduating from her starter set (1 wood, 2 irons, putter). The club heads/shafts/grips appear to be of decent quality, and should provide a consistent base to learn. The grips are not too skinny or hard, and will provide good feel, without having to hold too firmly. My only complaint was with the alignment of the grips - usually most grips, especially for non-pro sets will have a marking for aligning your thumbs/hands. In the case of these clubs, most of the grips were out of alignment, so that if you lined up based on the grip, the face is either a little open or a little closed. Not a big deal since the kid needs to learn to grip based on alignment of the head at address, and not simply trust a marking on the grip! So, this is OK for woods/irons which have circular (cross-section) grips. It is a different story with the putter which has a countoured grip. The misalignment here is going to cause trouble. I am debating if I should get her a new putter or attempt to regrip the putter (decent putter with a nice feel)
Great Product August 27, 2007 Meghan A. Ritter 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am 5'3 and a new golfer. This set is a great deal for the price. I was a little skeptical at first but they proved to be a good set.
