Well Designed and Bright October 11, 2008 Indy Plex (SF, CA USA) I'm impressed with this light. I do a lot of downhill mtn-bike riding and wanted a light that was bright, as well as durable enough to stay on the bike in the rough stuff. This light is small, super bright and has a pretty solid mount. There are two standard LED's with one super bright one. I actually have the one that has white LED covers (not red), but the LED's are red (not white). It has several mounting options and the mounting clip is... well simple, but also just well-designed. There are only 2 modes (flashing or steady) which is enough and makes turning the light on and off simple. The light is also easy to turn on and off and I can do it while I'm riding. I'm not one to carry a pack while I do a daily ride, and I don't like stuffing hard objects in my pocket for risk of crashing. The trails are a few miles from my house, so I often return at dusk or in the dark. This light lets me do it without the hassle, weight or need to constantly remove and re-attach the light. I just leave it on. However, if you lock your bike, the mounting bracket has a clip, so you can remvoe the light in a snap.
SuperFlash October 10, 2008 Popatap (Winter Haven, Fl) Awesome! Just as every one has said in there riviews here! I placed my order on 10/06/08 Super Saver(USPS)service and got my Blinky on 10/09/08. It's quality and small design makes it ideal to mount in more than just on the seat post, The one small clamp fits on my rear fork that comes down from my seat post, It's up above my rear axal 5", I have a rear basket and fender and mounting it on the seat post was not visable with geroceries in my basket and lower down my seat post the finder blocked it from being seen, The larger seat post clamp has the rubber spacer for smaller seatpost and if thats not enough just wrap some electrical tape around your post It's actually bright enough in the constant "ON" mode on a really dark path or road that one could use it as a headlight! Not that anybody would use it for that but it's just that bright! It could be annoying to some if there stuck sitting behind you in a car when its pretty dark and at a stop light, sign, ect so keep that in mind when you set it up, It can be seen at a 180 degree viewing angle. A great bike safty investment and a must have!
Excellent October 9, 2008 Neil in NY It's really bright, hooks on and off easily, and well priced. Get seen and this will really highlight your tail!
Safer Riding October 8, 2008 William P. Wattles (Florence, SC United States) This light is wonderful because it is bright enough to be seen in daylight. That is very useful for cloudy, rainy or just gray days. It makes me feel much safer riding in marginal conditions when I know that I can be seen. So far the light has performed flawlessly and stood up to rain and vibration.
Best tail light October 8, 2008 Douglas Higgins (Leesburg Fl.) Best tail light I have found. You can pay more for other lights but you won't find one that is brighter, and with a more eye catching flash pattern. I've got two of them on the rear of my bike and can be seen 1/2 mile away. I've had other riders stop and ask me about these lights, as none of the area bike shops carry them.
