HM Guitar January 7, 2010 Amy R. Codner My two girls ages 6 and 5 have had a lot of fun with this.
be a rock star! January 5, 2010 Patricia Farris (WHITE PIGEON, MI, US) This is an awesome guitar for girls who like Hanna Montana! It's like real guitar hero but only has 3 buttons. You have to master 2 songs before moving on to other songs. I heard my granddaughter got through 6 before bedtime. You have to start over from the beginning again but she wizzed through that and back to where she was. I highly recommend this to anyone who has music in their soul.
Guitar Loser December 29, 2009 Sarah E. Hamer (midwest) Out of the box, this guitar never worked correctly. It never had any sound, once plugged in. You had to unlock songs--and what is the fun of playing when there is no sound? Luckily, my daughter had other Hannah Montana toys to play with after Christmas, so that this one was not missed much. Wished I had never purchased it, even at the price I got it for....under $10 from another website.
Really, badly, wanted to like this ... BUT ... December 28, 2009 Charlize C. I really wanted to like this guitar. I purchased this guitar for my 6 year old daughter for this Christmas (2009) and I don't know which one of us was more disappointed. First, the guitar has no strings. It is just plastic grooves, and a metal plate in the middle that is a sensor to be tapped on instead of the actual strings. The buttons - red/yellow/green - are to be pressed to match up with colors of dots that appear on the screen, and they are hard for a 6 year old to reach, even me! It is really more of a matching game. This toy will not teach you how to play a guitar. Regretfully, this guitar will be returned and we'll get an "real" guitar instead.
Bought for $12.99! Great game!! December 12, 2009 M. Webb (Oregon) This is very fun! My daughter loves this. Can give you blister's though! Music is good quality! Like guitar hero!
